Who we are

Sawdustify is run by an individual in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@sawdustify.com.

By creating an account or signing in, you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't sign in or use Sawdustify.

What Sawdustify is

Sawdustify is a design and visualisation tool for home users: for planning rooms and furniture layouts and for DIY projects. It turns what you draw into drawings, dimensions, cut lists and purchase lists.

It does not check whether a design is safe, structurally sound, suitable for a particular purpose, or compliant with any law, regulation or building standard. It is not professional design, architectural, engineering, construction or safety advice.

You are responsible for your projects

You design it. You choose the sizes, pieces, positions, quantities and how they fit together, and you decide whether to build it, what to buy, and how.

You are responsible for checking every dimension, quantity and list against your actual materials before buying, cutting or building, for deciding whether a design and its materials are safe and suitable, and for following any rules that apply to your project.

Don't rely on Sawdustify for anything that carries people or heavy loads, or where a failure could hurt someone, such as stairs, balustrades, platforms, climbing frames or wall-mounted storage, without professional advice.

Woodworking tools are dangerous and can cause serious injury. Follow the manufacturer's instructions, use the right protective equipment, and work within your own skill and experience.

Sawdustify can be wrong

Sawdustify can make mistakes. Drawings, measurements, cut lists, cutting layouts, purchase lists, estimates and anything else it works out may be wrong, incomplete or out of date. They are guidance only: check them yourself before you use them.

The app is provided as it is and as available. We don't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted, secure or free of errors. It may change, break or lose data, and we may change, suspend or stop all or part of it; where we reasonably can, we'll tell you before a significant change or before we stop it. Keep your own copy of anything that matters to you.

Our liability

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, cost or expense arising from your use of Sawdustify or from relying on anything it shows or produces, however it is caused. This includes:

Your own mistakes in your designs, measurements or projects.

Mistakes made by the app, such as wrong drawings, measurements, cut lists, cutting layouts, quantities or estimates.

Money spent on materials, tools or anything else bought because of the app's lists or estimates, including the wrong amount, size or kind, wasted materials, and the cost of returning or replacing them.

Injury to you or anyone else, or damage to property, while building, using or moving anything you planned with Sawdustify, including injury from tools such as saws.

Any loss of data, projects, time, money, profit or opportunity, and any indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that can't be excluded or limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, and nothing in them affects your legal rights.

Your account and your projects

Keep access to your email and Google account secure: anyone who can sign in as you can use your account.

Use Sawdustify lawfully. Don't try to break, overload, disrupt or misuse it, get around its security, or get into accounts, data or systems that aren't yours.

Your projects are yours. You let us store, copy and process them only as needed to run Sawdustify for you, including through the service providers named in our privacy policy. The app itself, its design, code and branding belong to us or our licensors; these terms don't give you ownership of them.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or misuses Sawdustify. You can stop using Sawdustify at any time, and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@sawdustify.com. How we handle your data, and how long we keep it, is in our privacy policy.

Changes

We may change these terms. We'll update the date at the top, and ask you to accept them again if the change is significant.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws where you live.
